  • umph! Wow, has it ever been a long time since I've been here! Well, friends many things have happened in my life since you last heard from me. Lots of learning has ensued, of which I am always grateful. Too much actually to place here, plus you don't really think I'd reveal the few things I have yet to learn do you? (That's not to say that I've actually, truely learnt them even yet.)

That said, I had a great Christmas with just family. It was very nice, most festive and relaxing.

For those who did not know, I came home [from HQ] at Christmas. Yep. Jess and I packed everything up (believe me, it was a TON) and brought it all home. God just seemed to be directing in other ways. Who knows, I may be back there in a year or two. I do see myself returning at some point in the future. It really all depends on the Lords leading and direction.

well, it's been ages, but I'm afraid I've fallen into the facebook users crowd. I just don't really have tons of time to write here. But I'm not going to forsake xanga altogether, just letting everyone know I'm probably not going to be here as often. The fact that I haven't been able to figure a way to upload my pictures doesn't help either. Since I prefer to post more pictures than text. We'll have to see how it's going to go.

Here's a real quick update. I'm back at HQ, have been for about 4 weeks now. (since Indy conference) things are going pretty great. I've had a cold for most of this week, and it's hanging around in my head --not so conducive to working, but the Lord is my strength. My sis Beka is here till the beginning of Oct. so things can't really get much better with fam around. (Jess is here too) And I'm always meeting lots of new people which is good and bad. (mostly good)

That's about it. My birthday is in nine days; you may want to remember that. (if you really consider yourself a friend of mine) And I am changing my look, so check it out.

sorry I haven't been around these parts of the web much. Between being home with fam, and just joining facebook, it's kind of been pushed to the side. (until tonight)

Getting ready for the Indy conference next week. After that, I head back to HQ with my sisters. I'm really excited about it, and the new job I will be starting when I get there. Really starting to look forward to getting back into a schedule.

Beka and I went to the Falls for a day a few weeks ago. Here's some pictures from that awesome day.

This is a fountain in the back of the Niagara Falls Casino and Resort here. It's a great photoshooting spot.

nf071307 056nf071307 051 The water was a bit cold, but on a hot day... it was fun. I did try playing with the colour a bit with the one on the left.

nf071307 050 This one just seemed so hilarious to me, I had to put it up. It was completely by mistake, which makes it funnier.

A few more pictures I took that day:

nf071307 117 Barbie is continually makeing us laugh. She's just so cute! She's shaking herself after we shoved her into the water (and slipping everywhere in the process).

Have a great weekend! Sorry about the spaces, I'm not sure what's going on. :-|

    home again

yes, I am still alive to those of you who may have begun to doubt my existence. Acutally, I am home right now, and how nice it is. I've been here for a week already, and such a wonderful week. It actually felt as long as a week should feel! Seven whole days spent in not much more than sleeping, a little shopping, little socializing, but mainly hanging around the house with fam; which is quite alright with me. Get to be with my/our dear doggy Barbie again, and MOVIES! Yes!! I can watch whatever (almost) movie at my leisure, which is almost more than I could ask for. All in all, it has been great so far. Bek and I are going to the Falls this Fri., so hopfully I will have some pics of that.

I do apologize for not getting pictures on here waaaay before this, but things were crazy at HQ before I left, and since I wasn't sure if I would be coming back to my same desk and puter, I had to completely clear out my computer of all personal stuff. Then I come home, and our fam puter is so bad off, I really don't know if I can trust it to accurately hold what I want to put up. We'll see, maybe I can to come to some sort of compromise with one of my fam members' laptops.

I miss you guys at HQ a whole bunch still. I can't wait to see everyone at the Indy conference, then when I come back right after.

About Me

  • Hi, I'm Heidi, & I've been a musician for just about my whole life. I play flute & piano. Hmmm......love taking pictures, specially of my dog who is so photogenic. :-] Wouldn't trade being a Canadian for anything, love my two sisters, & love hockey. Reading is one of the best things you can do in your spare time, & drawing is second-best. Oh yes, and dogs are one of God's best creations. Love our pooch.
